Domains - Overview
Updated over a week ago

In the Domains & URLs section in TextPeak, you can configure custom domains for your SMS messages containing short URLs or opt-out URLs and create domain pools to use in future campaigns.

When creating an SMS campaign, you can use multiple custom domains for which you have previously registered and configured DNS records with a domain name provider. The domains will be applied in your messages randomly, with a unique shortcode added to each link. The links will redirect to the URL you want your customers to open ("the original URL").

Using custom domains has the following advantages:

  • The more domains you use in your SMS campaign, the more messages you can send without them being identified as spam.

  • As each link is unique, you can see which contacts click on links and thus measure their engagement.
