To receive incoming calls to your DID number, you need to set call forwarding to your SIP account, voice URI, or a landline or mobile number.
Do it as follows:
1. At CommPeak Portal, go to DIDs -> Configure.
2. Select the checkbox next to one or a few DID numbers you want to forward.
3. In the For and do fields above the list of DIDs, select appropriate options.
For lets you define if to apply the action towards checked DIDs or all DIDs on the list.
do lets you define your actions with the selected DIDs. In the dropdown menu, select the forward option you need: Set Forward SIP Account, Set Forward PSTN, etc. Each option will open additional fields to select or enter information.
4. Click Apply Changes.
How to Set up Forward Voice URIs
To set up a forward voice URI for your DID numbers, perform the following steps.
At CommPeak Portal, go to DIDs -> Configure.
Switch to the DID Voice URIs tab and click Create DID Voice URI.
Enter a name and SIP URI using the hints. Below, you can find configuration options.
Option 1 (domain):
Name: DID voice URI alias (e.g., Sample PBX)
SIP URI consists of the following parts:
{e164}: the international format of called phone numbers (including the country code prefix) - required
domain: your PBX server domain (e.g., @sample.pbx.commpeak.com) - required
Option 2 (IP address):
Name: DID voice URI alias (e.g., My Server)
SIP URI consists of the following parts:
{e164}: the international format of called phone numbers (including the country code prefix) - required
IP address: your CommPeak PBX server IP address (e.g., 1.2.3.4) - required
You can add to both variants the following optional parameters:
Click Save.
Apply the DID voice URI to the new CommPeak DIDs:
