You can create a team in your SMS platform account by adding users and inviting them to join. To each user, you can assign built-in or custom permissions.

Creating Role Permissions

On the Role Permissions page, you can view roles existing in your account and add new ones. To access the page, expand Settings in the main menu and click Role Permissions.

Adding New Roles

Tenant Owner and Tenant Viewer are two built-in master roles. You can add other custom roles and define their permissions according to your needs.

To create a custom role:

  1. Select the Role Permissions tab in the main menu's Settings section.

  2. Click Add New Tole in the top right.

  3. Enter a title in the Custom Role Name field. Then enter a description next to it.

  4. Click Expand All to access categories of all available permissions. Or you can expand a specific category using the expand button on the right.

  5. Enable one or more permission categories using the toggle buttons on the left.

  6. In the needed category, define permissions for your new role. You can unselect specific permissions as you wish.

  7. Click Save Changes.

Duplicating Existing Roles

You can duplicate any existing role as follows.

  1. Click the three dots and select Duplicate.

  2. Modify the role title, description, and permissions as needed.

  3. Click Save Changes.

After you save your changes, the new custom role appears on the page.

NOTE

Even if you unselect all permissions, the new role will still have a viewing ability as stated below the category title.

Adding Users

You can invite or delete other users in your account.

To add a user:

  1. In the Settings section of the main menu, select the Team tab.

  2. Click the Add User button at the top right of the page.

  3. In the pop-up window that appears, enter the new user's name and email, select a role from the drop-down list and click Send.

  4. The user will be added with the PENDING status and receive an invitation email.

  5. When the users click CONFIRM and complete registration, their status will change to ACTIVE.
