Zapier Integration
Updated over a week ago

This guide will walk you through creating SMS integrations with CommPeak in Zapier. Such integrations will allow you to receive an SMS notification triggered by an action in any connected app.

You can find more information about Zaps in the Zapier help center.

1. Sign up to Zapier

NOTE

If you already have a Zapier account, go to the next section.

  1. Navigate to CommPeak Integrations page (https://zapier.com/apps/commpeak/integrations) on the Zapier website. Here, you can select a signup option that is most suitable for you.

  2. Provide more information about yourself and your company. Then click Continue.

  3. You can select the CommPeak app, along with other apps you use, to get tailored recommendations and then click Finish setup.

2. Publish Your Zap Based on CommPeak Template

Now, let's see how to create Zaps from templates prepared by CommPeak. We will demonstrate adding Zaps for two workflows: a new event created in Google Calendar and a new order paid in Shopify. You can try other apps as you wish.

Navigate to https://zapier.com/apps/commpeak/integrations and scroll down. Here you will find pre-created templates.

  3. On the Trigger tab, select the calendar you want to use for this Zap.

  4. Continue to the Test tab. Click Test trigger.

  5. Select a record and click Continue with selected record.

Step 4: Complete Action Settings

  1. The App & event tab must be auto-filled from your chosen template. Otherwise, select the CommPeak app and the Send SMS event, and continue to the Account tab.

  2. Click Sign in to connect to CommPeak, then click Continue.

  3. On the Action tab, complete the required fields:

    1. Select a sender from your approved sender IDs in CommPeak SMS platform.

    2. Enter a target phone number.

    3. Set up the message. You can modify the suggested message and insert data, such as the event description or time. Then click Continue.

  4. On the Test tab, click Test step. The system will send a test SMS message to your target phone number.

  5. Click Publish.

Congratulations! You've published your first Zap.
