CommPeak Speed Test
Updated over a week ago

CommPeak Speed Test measures the speed and quality of your connection and lets you make sure your VoIP communication is going to be stable. The system analyzes a few aspects: Download, Upload, Ping, and Jitter.

Firstly, let’s cover basic terms important for understanding how the Speed Test works:

Download

1.png

Download shows the rate at which you can pull data from a server on the Internet to your device.

Upload

2.png

Upload shows the rate at which you can send data from your device to the Internet.

Ping

3.png

Ping shows how quickly your device sends a request and receives a response. A low ping value equals a more responsive connection.

Jitter

Jitter shows the variation between response times. A high jitter value equals a more inconsistent connection and potential call issues.

Mbps = Megabits per second

ms = milliseconds
