There are a few ways to check if your DID numbers are already tagged as spam. In this article, we recommend the websites that will help you identify spam phone numbers.

NOTE

The websites mentioned in this article are third party and not related to CommPeak in any way.

TrueCaller

TrueCaller is a service used for easily identifying incoming calls from unknown numbers and revealing spam calls. You can access TrueCaller via the web, but the number of items you can search is limited. So, if you need to check a lot of phone numbers, install the application.

To check your phone number:

  1. Sign in using your Microsoft or Google account.
  2. Enter the needed DID number in the Search a phone number bar and make sure to choose the correct country code.
  3. Click the search icon.

If the number has already been tagged as spam, the number of spam reports will show in red.

If there are no spam reports shown for the phone number, you can use it.

SpamCalls.net

You can use this free service for checking if your DID number is tagged as spam, as well as for reporting spam calls.

To check your phone number, go to spamcalls.net, enter the needed number in the search bar, and click the search icon.

The program will show if there have been any spam reports for the checked number.
If the number is tagged as spam, you will see the rating, comments and feedback posted by users, as well as the location of the number and those who submitted the spam reports.

If there are no spam reports, you can use the number.

telGuarder

telGuarder lets you search through reported numbers on its website. Besides checking if your number was rated good or at least neutral, you can leave feedback on fraudulent numbers, read comments, and see ratings made by other users. Also, with the telGuarder app, you can block unwanted calls and automatically alert on spam calls.

To check your phone number:

  1. Enter the DID number in the search bar.
  2. Check if the country code on the left is selected correctly.
  3. Click the search icon.

You will see how many times the number was searched and reported, its security level, and other details.

Below, you will find the rating and comment sections. Here you can see how others rated the number and rate it on your own, share your experience with the number, and set its status.

If your DID number was not reported and the rating is neutral or good, keep on using it.
